Santa Fe Trailer is a premium food vendor servicing Dane County since April 2008. We specialize in the flavors of New Mexico, featuring the fiery Hatch green chiles and robust red chiles noted for their outstanding flavor. All of the food is prepared by hand and made every day using only the best ingredients available.
Our Chef, Lori Christianson, former owner of Middleton’s Tortillas Restaurant, graduated with honors from the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. She has been working in the restaurant business for more than 20 years. Lori lived in the Southwest for 23 years where she developed a love for the unique food of New Mexico. She brings that tradition and world-class cuisine to Wisconsin.
Santa Fe Trailer’s mobile food cart travels around Dane County throughout the warm weather season. On weekdays, we park on the University of Wisconsin’s Library Mall, located at the end of State Street, serving lunch at 11 am until 3 pm.
On Saturdays, we park at the corner of E. Main Street and S. Pinckney Street during the Dane County Farmer’s Market. We serve breakfast and lunch items from 9 am to 1 pm.
Some weekends, we are not at the Farmer’s Market because we are at a local neighborhood festival or catering a private event. For a unique experience, bring the Santa Fe Trailer to your next outdoor event. We have a variety of menus from which to choose. As always, you can count on the Santa Fe Trailer to serve the best darn New Mexican style cuisine this side of the Wisconsin River!
Santa Fe Trailer also offers delivery and catering. Please call with your order one day ahead.
